Ben McCabe
Founding Partner Ben McCabe has a long-established reputation working with some of the best-known consumer tech businesses, with a broad functional understanding and a sector bias towards fashion, sports, lifestyle, mobility, food and non-food brands across the United States, APAC and EMEA regions.
Passionate about driving sustainability and promoting B-Corp values, Ben has been able to build relationships through his knowledge and flexibility, thereby allowing his clients access to the best diverse talent globally. This has enabled him to develop deep relationships with Founders and CEO’s built on trust and delivery in publicly listed, start-ups and VC backed high growth entities where technology, product and customer experience sit at the heart of the business.
Ben is a mixed race British Pakistani, eldest grandchild of Pakistani immigrants to the United Kingdom. He is the Founder and sole owner of McCabe + Partners.
Ben studied Political Science at the University of Leeds and spent a year working in UK Government before working for two leading executive search firms in London and Dubai.
When not chasing after his two young children, he is still trying to master the game of golf, is a keen follower of Manchester City, and balances his healthy obsession of cooking with a passion for fitness.
MONICA LIU-UHLMANN
Monica was born and raised in China but has lived and worked Germany, Taipei, Singapore and now residing in Dubai. She has worked with global businesses in Talent and HR functions for Lidl, AP Moller, American Express and Fosun Group. Prior to joining McCabe + Partners she spent a number of years with a Danish executive search firm with a core focus on clean technology, life science and manufacturing
A seasoned People Sustainability Consultant, Woman Empowerment Coach, MBA holder, Montessori educator, and devoted mother of two toddler boys. Monica brings a unique and diversified perspective; she is passionate about working with organisations to develop and enhance their people sustainability strategy and practices. This includes creating a diverse and inclusive candidate-centric journey.
Monica is passionate about designing an inclusive experience in recruitment, shaping an impactful onboarding processes, establishing robust performance management systems, conducting audits on diversity and inclusion policies and practices, while also navigating cross-border H.R. due diligence in M&A with global expertise and cultural insight.
Monicareceived an MBA from London Business School and Bachelor of Economics at Jinan University. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and German
